Recipe books
A useful feature of Data Driven Cooking for CHEFTOP-X™ Digital.ID™, BAKERTOP-X™ Digital.ID™ and SPEED-X™ Digital.ID™ ovens is the ability to organize recipes into Recipe Books according to your preferences. For example, you can create Recipe Books based on cooking methods, menu types, or any other criteria that best suits your workflow.
Create a recipe book
To create your first recipe book, go to the Library DDC page, choose a Digital.ID™ oven type and then click on ADD close to Favourites button.
You will be shown a pop-up where you can input the name of your recipe book and select a color. Then click "NEXT" and select the recipes that you want to add to this recipe book. When you are done, click "CREATE" and your recipe book will be automatically added to your library.
Add or remove recipes from existing recipe books
You can always add or remove recipes from your Recipe Books. To do so, click the SELECT button at the top of the page, choose the recipes you want to add, and then click Add to Recipe Books from the More menu.
By selecting or deselecting Recipe Books, you can edit the association between recipes and the selected Recipe Books.
Once you are done, click SAVE, all changes will be applied in seconds.
If you prefer, you can enter the page of a specific recipe, click the button MORE, select Add to recipe book and then select the recipe books where you want to add the recipe (it can be added to more than one recipe book).
Finally, you can edit the Recipe Books associated with a recipe directly while editing the recipe itself.
Click the ADD button in the Recipe Books section and select, from the pop-up, which Recipe Books you want to associate with the recipe. You can also create new Recipe Books from the same pop-up.
Edit a recipe book
To edit a Recipe Book, click the EDIT button in the Recipe Books section. This opens a pop-up displaying all the Recipe Books you have created.
For each Recipe Book, you can edit the name and color by clicking the Edit icon next to the relevant Recipe Book. At the end of the process click SAVE.
You cannot have more than one Recipe Book with the same name.
Delete a recipe book
To delete a Recipe Book, click the EDIT button in the Recipe Books section. This opens a pop-up displaying all the Recipe Books you have created.
Click the DELETE button close to the recipe book you want to delete and confirm the action.
By deleting a Recipe Book, you will remove the associated recipes. They will remain visible in the library.
Send a recipe book to your ovens
Once created, Recipe Books are available on all oven panels of the oven family you are using that are connected to your account. All changes related to creation, deletion, and association with specific recipes are synchronized across all ovens as soon as they are connected to internet.
