Convert recipes from other oven families
What is the conversion process?
It's a process that takes the original recipe designed for a UNOX oven and intelligently adjusts the cooking settings to ensure the recipe is perfectly executed, even on different UNOX oven models.
To use this feature, you must have at least two different UNOX oven families linked to your DDC account.
Available conversion:
- From MIND.Maps Big recipes to MIND.Maps Countertop recipes
Convert from family library
You can convert recipes anytime by going to the library page of the oven family you want to convert recipes for.
Click the MORE button at the top right and click "Convert from other ovens" from the menu.
This will open a pop-up showing all recipes from other compatible oven families. By default, all recipes are selected; deselect any you don’t want, then click CONVERT. (e.g. to get CHEFTOP-X™ and BAKERTOP-X™ Digital.ID recipes, go to the their library page, click "Convert from other lines", and the pop-up will show all recipes from other lines available to convert.)
This will start the conversion process, and at the end, all converted recipes will be displayed on the library page.
If you click on a converted recipe, you can see all its information and you will notice a banner at the top of the page explaining the conversion process. The cooking steps are also highlighted to indicate that they were created through an automatic conversion.
The recipe is fully customizable, and if you modify the cooking steps, the elements indicating the automatic conversion will disappear.
Share recipes to ovens
Now your recipes are ready to use!
If you converted recipes for Digital.ID ovens, at the end of the process you will find them already available in the libraries of all Digital.ID ovens connected to DDC, ready to be used.
If you converted recipes for any other type of ovens, send them to the ovens as described here in order to use them.
