Convert recipes from other oven families with LIBRARY.Converter

What is LIBRARY.Converter?​

LIBRARY.Converter is a tool that takes a recipe designed for one UNOX oven and intelligently adapts the cooking parameters, ensuring the recipe can also be executed on a different UNOX oven model.

To use LIBRARY.Converter, you need at least two different compatible UNOX oven families linked to your Data Driven Cooking account.

Currently, you can convert recipes:

  • From MIND.Maps™ Big to MIND.Maps Countertop
  • From CHEFTOP & BAKERTOP MIND.Maps™ Countertop & Compact to CHEFTOP-X™ & BAKERTOP-X™ Digital.ID

Convert from family library​

You can convert recipes at any time by visiting the library page of the oven family you want to convert recipes for.

Click the MORE button at the top right and select "Convert from other ovens" from the menu.
A pop-up will appear showing all recipes from other compatible oven families. By default, all recipes are selected. Deselect any you don’t want to convert, then click CONVERT. (e.g. On the CHEFTOP-X™ and BAKERTOP-X™ Digital.ID library page, click "Convert from other lines" to view and select recipes from other lines ready for conversion).

This will start the conversion process. Your new recipes will appear in your library, automatically adjusted for the target oven family.


If you open a converted recipe, you will notice a banner at the top of the page informing you that the recipe has been converted and explaining the process.

In the Cooking Steps section, the steps are highlighted to show that they were created through LIBRARY.Converter.


The converted recipe can be modified if necessary. You can work with it just like any regular recipe, adjusting cooking parameters or product information. Once you save your changes, the LIBRARY.Converter labels will disappear.

Note: MULTI.Time recipes created for MIND.Maps ovens and converted to Digital.ID ovens will become Personal Presets and appear inside the Digital.ID cooking card.

Share recipes to ovens After conversion, your recipes are ready to use!​

If you converted recipes for Digital.ID ovens, they will automatically appear in the libraries of all connected Digital.ID ovens, ready for immediate use.


If you converted recipes for any other type of ovens, you need to send them to the ovens as described here before you can use them.
